Q. What is the EVOLVE Volumizer?
A. The Evolve Volumizer is a 100 percent human hair, integrated hair system. It is NOT a wig or a hairpiece. The Volumizer is lightweight and undetectable. No one will know.
Q. Who is the Volumizer right for?
A. The Volumizer is excellent for women with up to 50 percent hair loss in the crown and top of the head.
Q. Will I see results right away?
A. Absolutely! Your Volumizer will provide instant volume, density, texture and color enhancement, all without chemicals, glue or adhesives.
Q. What is the difference between the Volumizer and hair extensions?
A. The Volumizer is a semi-permanent system that can be integrated with your own hair to create volume and fullness. Hair extensions are designed to add length and are usually bonded to your own hair. Also, hair extensions cannot add fullness in the crown area.
Q. What is the process?
A. First, you start with a complimentary consultation (about 30 minutes) with one of our Certified Volumizer stylists. During your consultation, we will answer any questions; show you a Volumizer; explain the installation, maintenance, and costs; and select the correct color, density and texture for you, based on your needs, desires and lifestyle. Then, we will design and create your custom Volumizer, which takes about one week. (Each Volumizer is custom designed, fitted, cut and shaped for every client.) When it is ready, we will call you to schedule an appointment for installation.
Q. How is the Volumizer applied?
A. Each hair on the Volumizer is hand-tied to a light-weight, poly-mesh ventilated base the conforms to the shape of the head and allows for air circulation and comfort.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. The base cost of the Volumizer system is $1,100, which can be split into two payments. Depending on what additional styling services the client desires (for example, adding hair extensions, coloring, styling), there may be add-on costs, which can be discussed and estimated separately.
Q. Can you match my color?
A. Yes, may be customized according to hair color and texture.
Q. My hair is naturally curly; can you match the curl of my natural hair?
A. Yes.
Q. How long does it last?
A. With proper care, the Volumizer can last up to a year.
Q. How often do I have to come back to the salon to have it done?
A. The average person needs a reset every 4-5 weeks, about the same as the average haircut or color service. Resets usually take about 45-minutes and cost about $129. Haircuts for the Volumizer system cost $100.
Q. How do I maintain my Volumizer?
A. A Volumizer brush and maintenance brochure are provided with your Volumizer. Check our Care & Maintenance section for more information.
Q. Can I style it?
A. Yes! Your Volumizer provides multiple styling options and can be shampooed, conditioned, curl-ironed, flat-ironed or blow-dried, just like your natural hair. You can also cut the Volumizer system as you would your regular hair. Haircuts are $100 for the Volumizer system.
Q. Will the Volumizer damage my hair?
A. No. Unlike extensions, gravity does not work against your hair. Also the connection points used to attach the Volumizer have a rounded edge to protect any hair breakage.
Q How long does it take to apply?
A. Application time varies on hair length and density. Service may take one-to-two hours.
Q. How successful has it been with other women?
A. We have “before and after” pictures that show the amazing transformation. The Evolve Volumizer has been incredibly effective in restoring self-image and self-confidence. It has been a life-changer for many of your clients.
Q. How do I get started?
A. Your first step is to schedule a Volumizer consultation (about 30 minutes) with one of our certified stylists. We will accommodate your schedule with weekday or weekend appointments, and day or evening hours.
